I know that guy was getting real desparate near the end of his career, and I heard this rumor. Is it true?

That's something I haven't heard before but hey...ya never know.
Word around the campfire is that Ray Croc gave the Hamburglar the boot, because it had "criminal connotations" regarding his character. In some form or another, he was always "stealing" some McDonald food in the TV commercials. He was my favorite, he kinda reminded me of Alice Cooper a bit. Take care.

Yeah and the hamburglar held the mcdonalds up with tons of those mcdonalds happy meals toys.And was launching them at the staff lol wow that was funny to type

Oh my what have we come to? I thought it was because he was attracting to many criminals to the restaurant! You know they figured it was a place for the ones who like to commit crimes!
