Absolutely 100%! We should enjoy as much as we can for as long as we can. Thanks for reminding me to do that today.

Oh so true, I enjoy the leaves falling from the trees in the autumn, the walks through the forest, the sound of ducks on a lake, chasing the dogs round a field, muddy walks on a cold morning and hot drink when I get home....children singing at assembly, the sun rise and setting, the clouds in the sky...... a bird feeding it's young.
Everything I enjoy is provided by nature and free

The smell of new mown grass, an early morning coffee, the light that shines through the window when the sun is coming up, a baby's smile, a cooked breakfast as a treat from cereal, walking by the river and hearing the boats chugging along, cold water on a hot day, feet soaking in a warm tub after a long days work. saying i love you and mean it.

Absolutely, I'd rather see my husband smile at me or pet my cat, than get a new car or big ticket luxury item that I don't really need. Yes the little things are the most important pieces to the puzzle,IMPO.

i agree, a small comfort like lying on the settee covered in a duvet, the fire blazing, the room bathed in candle light and a good bottle of wine can make all the stress of the day melt away x

You are right and I agree 100%. Friends of mine are both doctors and live in an expensive house on an expensive street. They are never home. They don't have time to enjoy their big expensive house or do the work that needs to be done. It's not a lived in home. His daughter was going to medical school and switched to fashion. Her father was upset. I asked her why she switched. She said she saw how hard her father and Lucy worked but what good does it do them if they don't have time to enjoy their home, etc. Right on Andrea.
The little things do matter more.

A SMILE OF A CHILD
When my daughter smiles I can forget the world and what you need the money for also doubles the feeling because my wife feels the same.

Yes, I totally agree. In my case: Stroking my cats and hearing them purr, a sunny day, a good book, any Stevie Wonder c.d but, more than anything, to hug and kiss my lovely young granddaughters.

Yes you are right, or rather the article.
We spend so long wishing and wanting for things, like more money, and to be slimmer (women) that we miss the things under our noses that are screaming out to us " I am making you happy, notice ME" LOL
