I'm assuming you mean:
x/3 + x/4 + x/5 = 47
20x/60 + 15x/60 + 12x/60 = 47
47x/60 = 47
x = 60

You can solve this problem in a simple way...
Since doing the same operation on both sides of the equation gives you the same result, you can invert EVERY operand to give you:
3x + 4x +5x = 1/47
Add the unknown variables...
12x= 1/47
Divide both sides by 12... (when you do this, you multiply the denominator 47 by 12)
x = 1\(12*47)
x = 1\564 OR
x = 0.0017
Hope this helps

Assume question SHOULD read :-
(1/3) x + (1 / 4) x + (1 / 5) x = 47
20 x + 15 x + 12 x = 2820
47x = 2820
x = 60

1/3x + 1/4x + 1/5x = 47
(1/3x + 1/4x) + 1/5x = 47
((4 + 3)/12x) + 1/5x = 47
(7/12x + 1/5x) = 47
((7x5) + 12)/ 60x = 47
(60+12)/60x = 47
72/60x = 47
6/5x = 47
6/47 = 5x
6/(47x5) = x
x = 6/235

x/3+x/4+x/5=47
Multiplying both sides by 60,the LCM of 3,4and 5
60x/3+60x/4 +60x/5=47*60
20x+15x+12x=47*60
47x=47*60
x=47*60/47=60 ans

do you just want the answer, or how I got it? :)
(1/3+1/4+1/5)x=47
(20/60+15/60+12/60)x=47
(47/60)x=47
(1/60)x=47/47
x=60

Find LCM (Least common multiple) of 3,4 and 5 which is 60.
20+15+12/60x = 47
Multiply 60x with right hand side number.
20+15+12=60x*47
47 = 2820x
x = 47/2820
x= 1/60 (solved)
