My mother is 46 and is constantly getting hot flashes. And I am beginning to get them as well. I get hot and sweaty (not horribly) then my body will return to its normal temperature. I am 19 going on twenty next month. I know that women get their periods at the same time. I was unsure if it is possible to get hot flashes as well. I don't believe I am going through menopause early. Other than the flashes I don't have any other symptoms. Just wanted some input. Thanks.

I would go get a check-up with your doc. & have some blood work done & get your thyroid checked-out. Your hormones may be a bit off....
