You seem more serious about this than many others who post this sort of question.
For you, I suggest that you DON'T get online help. A better way to go--the ONLY way to go if you're headed towards writing a real book--is :
1) to read books about the craft of writing
2) join a writer's group (you may have to do some looking around to find one that's right for you)
3) and practice. Do writing exercises and perhaps take some classes.
I resented having to take some classes (like English) to get my degree, but I have to admit, It really did help to round-out my education and forced me to read (and write) things that I never would have chosen to do on my own.
Becoming a good writer doesn't happen instantly, but even the slow process of getting there is rewarding in itself. I've written tons of things that were just part of the learning process, and I don't regret any of them.
Best wishes,
James

You must understand what you are covered by under copyright. A complete story and the characters in it are yours, always, forever, unless you specifically sell or give away the rights.
But an unfinished story, an idea, a concept, well that can be stolen lickety-split. If you give me a great outline and a great ending, if I finish it first well guess what, it's mine and there is very little you can do about it.
So there is the technical bit, now from the author.
If you can't think of your story then it is either no good or worst of all, you are not a writer and are not meant to be.
angry now? Good.
If you are or want to be a writer then stop and put some thought to it. Be creative, practice, leave the story for a few years and write short stories, flash fiction, anything to hone your skills and practice the art.
Now you say you are not creative enough. Well don't write then. Sadly, writing requires a lot of creativity. Now what I am betting is that you are creative enough, you just can't think your way out of a hole. Try something different, don't keep beating at a story you can't solve just now. join a writers group, read several hundred books, try writing while lying upside down with your head over the edge of the couch (it works sometimes)
don't give up and don't hand your writing off to someone else. who says they have a clue

I totally understand where you're coming from! That's my biggest problem too-I can think of a beginning and an ending, but I have real problems getting from point A to point B. Try talking it out with other people around you, or you could try doing some writing exercises. Sit down and write several different events you know for sure you want to happen between the beginning and the end, then elaborate on them and try to put them in order.
It might take you a long time, but your story will eventually get sorted out, mine always have.
You can email it to me at starsatnight54@yahoo.com and I'll look at it, although I don't know if I'm the best person to help you as I often have the same problem. If it's on a topic I know anything about or if it sparks my interest, I'd love to try and help you.
Good luck!

Handing your story over to a total stranger and asking for help is not a very good idea. How do you know the person who writes you and asks for a copy won't steal it?
I don't think your problem is a lack of creativity. I think your problem is a lack of background work. If you do character analysis on your characters and know them intimately, you will find that you know how they react in situations and the story will fill itself out for you.
I suggest you start from the beginning doing your character studies. Then let the characters speak and act for themselves. Pax - C
