I think all babie's weigh differently when they are first born. Just be sure your feeding them properly and everything.

I think it varies. Anywhere from 6-10lb is normal but depending on conditions in the womb a healthy weight could be different. If the mom has health problems or the baby birth has defects, a healthy weight may not fall with in the average weight range.

Eat better. Eat foods found in nature. No foods made in a factory. None.
Get active. Everyday do something. Walk. Run. Dance. Whatever. Get a dog, take it for a walk. Play with your kids if you have any. Get moving.
You do these 2 things then your weight will fall off. Learn more:

my daughter was 2 weeks early and she weighed almost 9 pounds and was 21 1/2 inches long. I think the average is somewhere around 7 pounds when babies are born.

they say 7lb over is average i was 9lb 13oz at birth my children were 2lb 1oz, 7lb 4oz ,and 7lb 6oz,
