I want to be buried at sea so if anyone wants to dance on my grave they'll have to get their feet wet.
Spike Milligan's epitath was changed just for the record
He had once quipped that he wanted his headstone to bear the words "I told you I was ill." He was buried at St Thomas's Church cemetery in Winchelsea, East Sussex, but the Chichester Diocese refused to allow this epitaph. A compromise was reached with the Irish language translation, "Dúirt mé leat go raibh mé breoite", and additionally in English, "Love, light, peace".

A greek writer (Kazantzakis) has on his headstone that:
Δεν έχω τίποτα.
Δεν ελπίζω τίποτα.
Δε φοβάμαι τίποτα.
Είμαι ελέυθερος.
Ι have nothing.
I don't hope of anything.
I am not afraid of anything.
I am FREE.
Certainly this is what I would have writen on my headstone!

Beloved Wife, Mother, Daughter, Sister.
Other than that I am not really sure exactly what i would want it to say all i know is i want it to be funny. Something people will laugh at when they come to visit my grave. Something that shows a bit of my personality, a piece of me that will keep my spirits alive.

I'm going to burnt and put on the top shelf with the words "I'm still watching you" carved on my urn.
But I'd put "Let me out, I ain't dead" on my headstone.

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, screaming "holy s**t what a ride!"
