It could be either of the above answers but go make an apt. with your doc. & get checked-out. Yahoo Answers is just guess work. You need to be seen & checked-out in person to be sure. Sometimes the lymph nodes protrude when you have an infection...

There are lymph nodes in your pelvic area, you could be feeling those. Check and see if you have them on both sides. If you do, then that's likely what your feeling-it's normal.

It could be many things ! Hernia's can make a lump . Get it looked at . Bowel obstruction could too . Have you gone to the bathroom ? Are you in pain ? If so go to dr. immed.
