I would agree that there are some things better left unsaid
It can be costly and put us in a needless dread
Sometimes a touch ,hug, and kiss is all we need
Words that are not necessary except I love you can ruin such a wonderful deed.
There are times when to be tacit
In times when words would only hurt and can cause others to be spastic
Sometimes it is our presence is all we need to do
To be solace to a friend, lover and anyone in a state of rue.

It depends on what exactly it is that should be left unspoken. If it's a matter of life and death then you better speak up. But if it's something small such as you made a minor mistake and overspent a dollar or two then no it's not really neccessary to say anything unless the person asks you. Unless of course you have a guilty conscience then by all means do speak up.

Beautiful poem but I would leave out this stanza, "The Little Girl Understood Them, For She Had A Story Of Her Own. But No One Listened To Her, And She Was Reduced To Ashes And Bones." It just doesn't flow quite as well, makes it too cliche and slant rhymes make the writer seem a little bit lazy. Sorry if that was mean! Beautiful poem!

yes... like hate.
but unfortunately, it's the positive things that we don't express (like our love for our parents, siblings, partner)
and the negative things we freely spew out like an erupting volcano (we curse, say bad things about other people, etc)
