I am cheap with my money because I lived through some hard times during the late 50's. In fact this country was going through some very hard times in the late 50's. Some out here might remember that. Cooking fish heads to stretch meals. having meat on the table once or twice a week. Buying beef bones to make soup. And Christmas. Christmas was the saddest day of the year.
Am I cheap with my money, you bet I am. But when its time for me to leave this earth, I want to insure that my wife will not have to lack anything. I live for her and I will die for her.

I am not cheap at all with my money in real life and VERY thrifty with my points on here. It kind of is the same on and off really. When I spend my money I get things....here..If I save my points, I get levels. Level 4 is right around the corner for me...and yahoo took away 12 points because an asker reported my answer!! EEEK!! I wasn't rude or threatening in my answer...what a wuss he is! LMAO

Well I've been trying to reach a certain level that seems to be
further away every day when I log on. I swear I'm having roll
backs. As I keep seeing the same three last numbers every
day. Or is it Oldtimers Disease creeping up on me again?
Well, what the heck. GIve me a minute, and I'll ask another
question, that will take you back to the 40's and mid 50s',
all you seniors out there.

No correlation. I spend my money freely. I also have a fairly large library of books around me in the room that contains this computer. So, if I need an answer to a question, I look it up in a book.

As far as I know the points here get you nothing other than bragging rites.
And yes they do deduct points if you ask a question, seems silly to me but hey I'm not Yahoo Answers.

I don't see much correlation between the two. I don't think the points have any value to me, just sometimes I am busy doing other things than on the computer asking/ answering questions.

I don't even think about the points. I don't have enough money to count, and I'm too busy trying to figure out that red fox sneaking up on the hen house.

It may be relative. I use my points much as do my money. If I have something of value to ask i spend the points. But I seldom fritter them away.

I don't sit and think up questions to post, but if I want an opinion on something I ask you all. Though I did promise Sylyia I would post a bit more so she wasn't the only one.

Some of us are not as quick witted as others ,heck I'd give my points away if I knew how, just to read or try to answer some of the questions on this site .
