I went this morning for the nuchal fold test and the baby would not cooperate and lay the way they wanted. She/he was jumping around and posing for the camera. I have to go back on Monday to try again. She/he was in there playing and sucking her thumb. So cute!

I had a fluid build up on my right fallopian tube. Doctor said that he would monitor it. Has anyone else had this? If so, what was the outcome? I ma 12 1/2 weeks (tho baby is measuring 13 1/2).

She kept facing the camera as if she were saying, "WHAT?"

That gave me a giggle... my son turned around as soon as my follow up sonogram began. I was supposed to get pictures in place of the "incomplete views" taken at my 20 week sonogram and he said, "Leave me alone, I am trying to sleep!"

Babies are like that lol. When we went in for my ultrasound last week...I am 21 weeks along...my little guy was just bouncing off the walls...one moment he was on his back with his arms stretched up over his head and his legs all stretched out with his little ankles crossed...lol and yes they really were crossed we got an adorable picture of the bottoms of his feet as his ankles were crossed and you can see all ten little toes! And then the next moment he was on his tummy all curled up. He kept sticking his hands inside his mouth and he kept opening his mouth REEEAAALLY wide like he was going to take a big bite out of an apple. It was really crazy. I always feel the baby move a lot and all this time my honey has thought that I was crazy and that it was all in my head but after seeing the baby moving around like it was his own personal jump house in there he finally believed me lol.

The only thing I can say is try not to eat sugary things or drink caffine 24 hours before your doctors appt and that should help calm the little one down...didn't really work for me but I know people that did. Everyone says I just have an active little boy....his dad is the same way though. His mom always jokes that he was 3 boys rolled into one.

Don't worry too much about the fluid build up. The doctor will monitor everything and make sure that you recieve the care that is best for you and baby. Congrats on your pregnancy. You're going to be a great mommy!!!
