my PE teacher is kind of fruity and he reads teen magazines and stuff. and my uncles concerned because he was sexually molested by a teacher when he was younger

My Dear Son, I don't see why not. Gay men are NOT pedophiles.
Heterosexual men are most often pedophiles.
I'd worry more about your scout master than about your gym teacher (although I'm accusing no one, mind you) as pedophilia is about power, not sex.
You have *got* to get the thought out of your head that swishiness equals gayity. It doesn't. Most gay men can't be picked out of a crowd. Now grow up, child.
Edit: I understand your Uncle's concern. If you have concerns of your own, take it to your principle but make absolutely certain you know what you're doing as you may be costing an INNOCENT man his job and his reputation. If you have any cause for concern that he has touced another student then go to your principle. If not Leave Him Alone.

Well I went to an all boys high school and our PE teacher was a woman, who is attracted to men. So does that mean since she is attracted to a gender in which she is teaching she should be denied employment opportunities, in case she decides to get it on with one of her pupils.
I don't think so, same goes for a gay male teacher.
PS - No Teacher regardless of their sexuality should be allowed to use student showers, they need to have showers for staff only or perhaps been given a separate allocated time in which they may have use of the showers.

Being Gay doesn't make him a pervert,
But if you have a weird feeling tell him to stop looking and tell the principal you feel uncomfortable and why.

Why not?
Just because they are gay doesn't mean they want you. Yeesh how much longer will it take for people to get that through their think skulls.
Being gay doesn't make you a pedophile.

Most of the time PE teachers a coaches for something else.
Women in the girls room. Men in the boys room.
Not because someone is attracted to the same sex or what not.
It's because you are the same sex that makes you qualify. They all have the same body parts. therefor it works out.

Well, from what I remember from school (and that was a long time ago)...the majority of our gym teachers and coaches were gay....there wasn't a problem with it.
You need to get over yourself. Just because someone is gay, doesn't mean that they are going to want to sleep with you, or any other child. Stop listening to the hate that your uncle spills out. He was molested my a pedophile...not a gay person...there is a HUGE difference!!!

Numerous studies have shown that pedophilia has nothing to do with homosexuality. 90% of pedophiles are *straight.* So, of course, gay men should be able to be PE instructors. Honestly, our culture would probably be far better off if nudity weren't seen as such a huge deal. I've seen breasts, vaginas and penises with the naked eye on many occasions. And you know what? I could care less on all accounts. The vast majority of us are rational human beings and ought to deal with being able to see the naked human being - horror of horrors - without giving into animal lust.

Yes. why not? Just because your uncle had a bad experience with a teacher does not mean that all teachers are the going to do the same.
