Do you think people tend to talk faster if...................?

they have more SIBLINGS, or if they are more INTELLIGENT?

I'd like to think it's a little of both in my case...competing to be heard and smart enough to think fast enough to speak first. Lol. Oh, and it's not a nervous thing (I'm not a nervous person) I can slow my speech down to normal in a jiffy. Which do you think?

I think they can start talking a little faster if they aren't the first kid. Parents have already done any mess-ups and the older brother can teach the younger. But intelligence does play a big key since our ability to speak language comes from human instinct and distinct parts of the brain.

I talk way too fast ... I don't know if intelligence has anything to do with it, but I like that idea, so I'll go with that. lol
although I have 5 younger siblings, so maybe that has something to do with it too ....

they live in the Northeast. People from here (NE) always say people from other areas of the country tell them they talk soooo fast....
