My husband and I will be married for 5 years on October 4th. I need anniversary gift ideas. He is into flying model airplanes and hunting. There are other hobbies but he is more into these. What should I get him. He is just starting the Model Airplaine stuff.

Those are expensive hobbies for a tight budget. Heres an idea for the gun owner. Get a nice gun cleaning kit, around twenty dollars. A soft gun case $20. A hunting vest $20. How about a subscription to a hunting magazine? Outdoor Life is my favorite.

If he's into model airplanes, I am guessing he's into real planes too. There are companies that will let your husband fly along in a fighter jet with a real Navy pilot. It can get pretty pricey, but your 5-year anniversary is a special one. Check out these websites. I plan on doing that for my guy someday when I have enough cash.

If he's into hunting, get him a gun that he really wants [especially if you can get engraving on it]. Model airplanes are great, but not as long-lasting or memorable, and that's the kind of stuff that you need to look for for an anniversary. Something that he will always cherish and use to remember how much you truly love him =]
