Kelly B - I acknowledge that. Most of this insanity is by directive of him and the other wild eyed imams that run the country. Your point is...?

A war with Iran now would be a horrible, bloody mess.

The only thing worse would be waiting until they had nukes, and attacked - as they say they want to.

I take them at their word.

Sometimes life presents no "good" choices - only bad ones and worse ones.

A mature person looks at the situation at hand, and does not wish problems away through denial.

We need to strike Iran soon. I believe we will. I wish the Iranians had not made it necessary.

These conflicts wont serve any purpose till Islamic leaders mature and really take concrete steps to prevent Islamic youth from becoming terrorists.

Otherwise, western forces and policies will keep on hurting the middle east for many decades to come and when the oil is all used up, middle east will be forgotten and israel's clout will increase with the loss of the oil card with the muslim countries.

So the best time to make lasting peace is right now when muslims have oil. Once its used up no one is going to give a damn whether Israel behaves or not. Due to its strong economic connections, Israel will maintain its clout and use its stronger influenence to make things work its way

I think folks legitimize people like Ahmadinejad when they respond to such idle talk. Sometimes it may behoove us to ignore the chatter, yet keep a watchful eye...

Much like folks on this web board, some of what you see is merely the antics of an attention-whore. You feed these types and promote more of the same actions when you constantly respond...

Without the attention of the US, how would Ahmandinejad be able to instill national pride and rally his people. We are playing into their hands precisely as they want us to.

I read in Pajama media that all is not gold in Iran. The regular Army is confined to the barracks and considered unreliable by the mullahs. The Drug lords in eastern Iran are besting the Revolutionary guards, and the Kurds are doing the same in the west. check it out.

Israel has the most to loose in this. I believe they have the guts and the capability to take out Iran. Sooner rather than later they will get tired of listening to that snot nosed punk and give him something to cry about.

No, military action is the last desperate measure. Iran is belligerent, it's true, but, they are a 3rd world nation incapable of any serious actions against the west, actions that upend the sovereignty of another nation.

We need to take this very seriously and act now. We can not afford to let a nuclear Iran hold this world hostage. This nation is clearly sponsoring terrorism and needs to be dealt with as such.
