ACH hold means someone ran an authorization. Google GilaCorp and you get "Gila Corporation offers outsourced collections, payment processing and call center services to governmental entities and financial institutions nationwide"
If you gave the city your banking information for payment of tickets that is probably exactly what the hold is. Otherwise you should call your bank and let them know it is not an authorized transaction and find out what to do to file a fraud complaint.

Don't bother calling, go into the bank branch directly and have them pull it up. I had this happen to me (it wasn't ACH, but somethingn else) and they were able to pull up what info they had on the company and then give me a phone number to call about the charge directly while I was in the branch. Turns out mine was legitimate, but going in person is the best way to get someone to help you.

No company has any right to take money from your account unless you have previously authorised them to do so through signing an agreement, such as a direct debit mandate or standing order arrangement. You most likely did if money has been taken out. Check with your bank for further details and they will be able to provide you with the info you require.

Go to your bank and ask what an ACH Hold is. The ask who or what is GilaCorp and why they have a hold on your account. It could be as simple as you buying gas with an ATM card or buying something online. It could be a mistake. The only way to be certain is to go to the bank and find out.

I would suggest you to call your bank or go down to the branch and ask the bank what the charge is. The bank should be able to tell you who charged it, where and for what. From there you should be able to check your own receipts or records to see if it was something you authorized. If it's a fraudulent charge, ask the bank to help you reverse it.

Best thing to do is contact your bank see if they can give you any more information about this company and let them know you didn't purchase something from this company.

If you don't recognize this charge, you need to contact your bank as soon as possible to dispute this charge. The more time you let pass will make it harder to dispute and send this charge back to the merchant (oh - i work at a bank too).

I don't know what that is. Maybe someone from your bank will read this and post an answer.
Or, you could call your bank directly and ask.
