I had not heard of it before, but I doubt very much that it is real, and even if it was, you can't win a lottery if you didn't enter or buy a ticket. Lotteries are not the same as random drawings that big comanies sometimes have, but even then you would have sent in an entry form. I have never heard of Microsoft doing anything remotely like that, and I am 99% certain this is a scam. Somebody could be phishing for identity information, or hoping people send in money to claim their "Winnings"

It's not real. All of the things that you receive in your e-mail box saying that you have one a lottery or that someone in Nigeria is leaving you a bunch of money is internet fraud. Be very careful with these things. If you didn't buy a ticket chances are you have won nothing, except for the opportunity to get scammed.

all Internet lottery wins are a scam..if you win on any lottery you are notified by post only..and if they say you have won the lottery ,and you haven't played ..how could you have won..it's a scam to get your details..ignore it..
