Ha!Ha!, too funny, yes, they do!!! And I would rather my husband go through a "mid life crisis", bring home a corvette and a well endowed blonde than act like he is now!!! He is 44 and acts like he is retired!!

In some cases, yes. In other cases, no. Yes, because there are those who's only mid 30s already acting like old men though. No, because there are men in their 40s who acted like wailing kids, full of complaints though.
As for the ladies, it's the complete opposite as they really mature as age passed. They are even more calm than most of us men too.

Hey I resemble that remark!!!
Actually I am 46 and still enjoy a lot of the things I enjoyed when I was in my 20's; wine, women, and rock and roll... no really, I surely do not act my age nor do I (think) I act the age of a 70 y o. Must be something in the water where you live..... DON"T DRINK THE WATER!!!!!!!

No...Not in my case anyway. Not only don't I act [I act a lot younger] my age, I also don't look [I look a lot younger] my age.
As for a trend for men acting older than they actually are, it very well could be true. However, there are men who don't fit that profile and I proud/glad to say I'm one of them.

I don't know how seventy year old men act. There usually in a senior citizen home somewhere. All men do not act the same. Maybe that's your problem.

No, mine went through a "mid life crisis" and wanted an
earring in his ear and a motorcycle and a sporty car.
Now he's 57 and acts 70 sometimes! :-)
