Something you see in the movies.....a forever lasting love that never grows old.

To me, it means I've reached the end of another fairy tale.

I could dream up unreasonable expectations for my life that might translate for someone else into that.

A life with someone who loved me more each day, with whom I could live a trusting quiet life, without major debts, surrounded by friends and family who cared.
That would seem to be a "happily ever after" to me.

However, reality sets in, and my kids head off to various parts of the world, I don't live close to the rest of my family, and to do so would mean a major cut in salary, my bills arrive and my paycheck almost meets the payments, and I find myself, at times, a bit jealous of the time my spouse spends on others, even though there has never been a violation of my trust in that way.

In this life, I am flawed. So each day, I give thanks for what I do have, ask forgiveness to those around me for my shortcomings, and plan to try again, tomorrow, to be a better person.

Happily ever after for me would be getting what I need and wanting what I get. I've been through so much crap that I'm sorta jaded and don't really believe in a happily ever after anymore...there's always something that adds some sort of a restriction or limitation to that. Who knows though maybe I will meet someone who'll change my way of thinking...and quite possibly I have already.

I dunno! So far I've never seen anyone happily ever after.....maybe once happy but killed it by gettin to happy and wound up in jail (paris) or got knocked up (nicole) or got shot (50 cent) or had many regrets (me).....no such thing maybe all you see is a spark, but it doesnt last cause somewhere along the way it changes

Fairy Tale Land
I don't believe in "happily ever after".
I used to, and then came the divorce.
That ruined "happily ever after" :{

It means that I will acquire a fast metabolisms and that I will have become semi famous for my book of poems. I will have found the man of my dreams and that my boobs are perky and not saggy anymore. Animal abuse has stopped and everyone is nice to everyone. Murder and war has stopped and that everyone isn't starving. Rape has stopped and so has all that other bad stuff.
