To activate cookies in Internet Explorer....

From the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
Click on the Security tab, then click the Custom Level button. The Security Settings window will open.
Scroll down the window until you see the heading for Cookies.
Make sure that both sections have Enabled selected.

For Firefox ....

Click the Tools menu
Choose Options.
At the top of the window that appears, click Privacy.
From the Cookies tab, select the Allow sites to set Cookies option.
Click OK until you return to the Firefox window.

"Be careful what you wish for."

Easiest thing to do. From IE, click Tools, Internet Options.
Check the various tabs and move your settings, probably to low. I have mine on medium. You'll get all the cookies and ads you want.
