I'm not sure what 'truth' you're referring to, you would have to define it a little better. But here are some thoughts...

Science is man-made. Human intelligence is not perfect. Therefore, anything that derives from human intelligence cannot be perfect. The truth you are talking about cannot be perfect or 'the absolute truth', if that's what you mean. The term is subjective.

Good question!

Science is the truth. The closer we understand science the closer we are to the truth (with exception of the theory of evolution from Darwin) Science and the Scripture do not conflict with each other but compliment each other. "The earth hang on nothing" it is both scriptural and science of astronomy. The scripture talk about the Creator forbid interbreeding between species so it is a genetically correct in science. The food that is most rich in antioxidant, mineral, vitamins, life enzymes and herb which is excellent for good health is the same food that Genesis the Creator said that it was the best food for man. The answer is NO science is not taking us further and away from the Truth, but vice versa.

I think we can rely on science in a lot of ways, and it surely has done a great bit of good. On the other hand, science has been known to be wrong. Years ago they said smoking was good for you... Now? Now they have figured out that it actually causes cancer, as well as other things. If science was off about cigarette smoking just a few decades ago, you can be sure that just these few years have not made them smart enough that they can't be wrong again. It took thousands of years for science to get this far. No matter how hard they research things, they will NEVER know everything. And carbon dating is ridiculous in my opinion. I don't see it as reliable at all.

There is science being bought and paid for by people with financial interests in certian outcomes, that does not represent the truth. In general science is the only way to find the truth. There can't be truth by perpetuating myths and telling people they must believe it as the truth. The truth should be our authority not authority being our accepted truth. Watch online www.zeitgeistmovie.com, this will make you think about the truth and want to do your own research.

No, by its nature it seeks the truth which in most cases can only be approximated in its path away from assumption and popular speculation..

Sorry didn't see the capital "T" in truth. Science challenges some religious beliefs—one cannot negate the other as they are on different planes. There is a respectful place for both. One cannot prove there is no God (God would demand further definition) nor can we shout down scientific findings with our feelings and beliefs..

Interesting that you are asking this question on a computer that is the result of science.

In effect, you are seeking the truth using a scientific device in an attempt to find out if science is blocking man from truth.

Or is it just certain science that you question? Just the science that conflicts with your beliefs?

Sorry. You can't have it both ways.

You must tell me what you consider to be the Truth. One person's truth is another person's lie. Who knows the Truth? Science is the only tool we have to discover information about this world. The rest is theory, belief, faith, judgment and hope.

NO

Science works on PROOFS - if you PROVE something you have the truth. Somethings cannot be proven or disproven.
eg if you lost your keys and found them in the KITCHEN - you have PROOF the keys were in the kitchen, however if you search the kitchen and still cannot find your keys that does not disprove your keys are in the Kitchen or not.

Religion is the LIE that hides the truth. Organized Religion is behavioral control. Its a scam.

Seeing as science is based on facts and belief is based on myth and a book that was written before people were as intelligent as they are now, no, I think it's bringing us closer to the truth.

It all depends on your version of the truth. Its most likely different to other peoples thats why there is so much intolerance in the world.
