my Leatherlyke bags will never loose there shape, fade or absorb water, they have a rubber seal to keep your stuff dry and they also lock. Lertherlyke bags come in two styles, Traditional or Classic w/Conchos.

I own a pair of Classic's for my Vulcan and soon will be adding there new Classic Trunk (with the same features as the Classic bags).

Fact is ,the vast majority are vinyl ( a pretty convincing fake leather) ,but synthetic just the same.

If one was to buy * genuine leather* saddle bags they would be quite expensive.
Typical (vinyl) bags are $100- $200 , I would guess leather could easily be $500-$700.
