I say we just stay in for the weekend and have our own "Mile High Club" rendezvous. ^lol^ ;-)
*Seriously, fly from O'Hare to Charlotte Douglas Int'l Airport. I think they offer direct flights on US Airways & United at a pretty reasonable rate. However, Charlotte is an expensive airport to fly into so be prepared. To drive would take you almost a day, plus you'd have go through West Virginia (long & tedious drive). Happy traveling!

The Drive would be beautiful and scenic not to mention more relaxing in my opinion....
The Plane is a metal container full of people that will probably give you a cold or some other illness ! The only good part about the plane is more time at your destination !
Let us know what you decide !

The drive is beautiful, esp. if your road trip companions are some one you can talk to.
But it could be unsafe. As you will be hurried and tired.

hmm.. thats a long drive!
if your going to downtown chicago, driving in it's self is going to be difficult. there is tons of construction going on...
if you do drive, *avoid 90-94* :)
