I came up with this idea to make up illustrated stories and mak them into movies using software and add sountrack with sound effects and all.
I'm really excited about it however, my family has no interest in it. I have no friends and no girlfriend either so i can't show anyone. I'm 27 by the way, male.
It's nothing professional by the way, just a fun idea i had. There is one person who might care, and it's my 6 year old nephew.. but it's kinda sad that my sisters don't care. nor my parents.

When I ask other people for help I feel like I'm being educated about what I didn't know. I'm gaining knowledge so why not. I'm a shy person so it might be a little hard for me to go up to someone I don't no very well or at all for help. Once I get the question off my chest it feels good. I love helping people. I help people all the time ( if they need it of course ) I'm a very helpful person so it just comes naturally to me. I feel as if I'm doing a good deed. It also makes me feel good about myself when I'm helping someone else. I'm never pressured at home nor at school to get help. Sometimes help is forced upon me when I clearly don't need it but, I still respect the other persons kind gesture. I usually don't say anything about it to them, I just try and be polite. Maybe it'll help them understand it even more if they try explaining it to someone. No, people don't ever tell me that I ask for too much help. I don't think I ask for too much help. I ask for help when I really think I can't figure something out or do something. I hope I helped : ) Good Luck!!!

Sorry trobot but you've probably heard this before... get a life. It sounds to me like you spend an awful lot of time on your PC - at 27you have no friends, no girlfriend and your family aren't interested, also it appears the closest you've got for a friend is a 6 year old child. Go out, socialise, meet people, make friends. then when you've found like minded people show them you creation and they can help you. Until then, I'm sure someone on here will have the technical help you want.

Well if your family doesnt care and you have no friends, then you have to take care of your own business. Surf the net there are planty of people looking for new ideas and inventions, take a chance at it. Life is to short, dont let the world pass you by, take part in it. Become big soing something you like to do.

sounds like some thing I have recently gone through. You need to find more positive people to be around who share the same likes or hobbies. Yes, some times they are a lot younger people than yourself but enjoy the same things. Hang in there and just do what you like if it brings you happyness.

start seriously persuing this idea and you will meet people with similar interests. You can also advertise locally in meetup.com for other serious amateurs.
You shouldn't let the lack of friends keep you from realizing your dreams, your dreams are a conduit for making friends.

Dont worry what your family will think, get the views and opinions for your targeted age groups!! You will get a much better response from those that will use your product!!

friendly,talk to people and go out meet some friends.Change your lifestyle so that you can meet people with the same interest as yours.
