yes all the time, but the one I find most frustrating is when you get in the bath for a long soak to relax and the door goes.
I don't bother anymore because several times I have got out of bath just to find it was just a noisy free newspaper delivery person, who couldn't put it through the letterbox without knocking several times and the paper lying in the hall Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Ah yes, and it's always one of those useless people, you know, like when a machine phones you or its an 0800 number. And you have just been running around the house naked like a madman to get to the phone in time! Ah, I try to ignore it, but a ringing phone just has to be answered.

...................or you have taken a day off work to wait for the plumber and you just pop next door to borrow a cup of sugar and there's a note through your door to say he's been and can't come back for 2 weeks!

If I know them and are expecting them...I make an effort to get to them. If not.....They'll keep on knocking or ringing.
