Jim Palmer beating the Dodgers 1-0 in 1966. The first World Series I remember entirely is 1967 with the Cardinals and Red Sox

The first world series I remember is the 1955 world series between the Brooklyn Dodgers and the New York Yankees.

Of course, that was a taped repeated game that my grandfather showed me when I was a kid. (I wasn't alive in '55)

Then first one I remember seeing live is the 1996 world series.

I remember the 84 series with Kirk Gibson and the Tigers finishing off a dominating year by beating San Diego. I also remember Kurt Bevacqua (I think I spelled it right) hitting a couple homers for San Diego and because I was a little kid, I thought his last name was funny.

well, I'm pushing 40, but the best one I remember was 2005, when the White Sox spanked the Astro's.

Oh, wait you said the first one. That would be the 79 or 80 WS with the Dodgers and Yankees going head to head!

In 1989, I had just started playing and watching baseball. I was around 11 years old and remember the earthquake of San Francisco. It was mesmerizing and the city came together and the WS was eventually completed.

1968. I was 9 and I remember Tim McCarver popping out to Bill Freehan to make the last out.

The St. Louis Cardinals were up 3 games to 1 and The Tigers came back and took it!
