Hi, I'm studying german now, and I would like to practice this language with some hard rock... (We do sing in class... But I would never go driving listening Yvonne Cattersfield loud on my stereo).
So, if you know any good Metal, Rock, Alternative or Punk Band that sing in German, pleas post it.

Thanks for all your responses... you guys are being very helpful.
I'm actually a Rammstein fan, I know some of their songs and I use them to practice my vocabulary and pronunciation (And singing techniques ; ) )
By the way.... The purpouse of my question is to find bands or singers that sing in German... It does not matter if they were born in Germany, Swiss, Austria, Liechtenstien or any other German-Speaking Country..

you can go also for a rock/disco German band KRAAFT
if you like new wave, go for Peter Schilling then there's Rock Me Amadeus...it's FALCO, man! Listen to his Rock Me, Amadeus then, Jeannie and Vienna Calling.. If German is what you want, then, this is the Frankfurter of them all!

I only know one and that is Rammestein.
They are an industrialized metal group, fabulous live, very popular outside of Germany too.
Check out their dvd "Live Aus Berlin".
They also had a cameo role at the start of XXX and had their song "Du Reicht So Gut" featured on the first Matrix soundtrack.
I highly recommend them.
