I'm just curious. i want to know if this would work:
I have a folder called "NEW FOLDER 1"
I put a shorcut to a word document inside "NEW FOLDER 1"
I want to click on "NEW FOLDER 1"... and instead of opening the folder to view the file... i want to open the file automatically.
can it be done?
i just want to see if this is a valid quirk.
I have a windows XP platform.
Thanks.

I have a project for school. its more convenient for me if i can put all my word documents and powerpoint presentations into one folder... and then open them all with one click... as i need to open them all anyway. I know i could highlight them all and click... but i value time and effort, and would like to minimize the usage of both.

I know how to make files and programs open automatically on STARTUP... but still no idea about my original question... any way the startup automation can be tweaked?
