I`ll be round a fire in the back garden watching all the fireworks for free, drinking with a few mates and asking some burning questions, with bake potatoes done in the fire and wrapped in a blanket pure joy love it no I don`t the believe just the fun, after all there's no point in going to bed you`ll never sleep with the noise, you have as good time

Well last year I was very heavily pregnant (gave birth 3 weeks later!) so couldn't go to a display as I was scared it would send me into labour!

This year I'll have a one-year-old baby so can't go to a display because all the bangs will scare him!

So looks like the second Guy Fawkes Night I'll spend in front of the TV!!! Oh well, maybe next year . . .

After making sure my cats are safely indoors, I will be taking the family to Hull University fire work display. I've been for the last 4 years and it's an excellent display. Hope you have a good time.

Well, despite my pagan beliefs, I shan't be burning effigies of Catholics. I really think it is time we re-thought this event. perhaps we should celebrate our parliment rather than, picking out one of a group who tried to blow it up.
I am, however, a sucker for fireworks and think we should learn to associate them with positive celebrations like the chinese who invented them.
