The most patriotic is members of the Constitution Party, followed by Republicans and the independants. Democrats are 2 parts. Those that have a hidden agneda and those that vote based on tradition and not knowledge of the political system. Democrat politicians are the most unloyal of all democrats. There is absolutly no way in heaven or earth that anyone well ever convince me that the politicans of the Democrat party are loyal. No way, no how. And to think, I was a democrat once.

I am confused by one of the answers. Wasn't Teddy Roosevelt a Republican? Franklin Roosevelt was a Democrat. My belief is that both parties can be patriotic. I know that I am. Earlier in life as a Democrat and now as a Republican. I am tempted at times to register as an Independent.

I have grown so disenchanted with the actions of both Republicans AND Democrats that I am seriously considering registering as an independent. I vote issues, not party. I vote sanity, not saber rattling. I vote for the people, not corporations. I have just about had it with what and where the Feds are going. Republicans used to be the party of the fiscal responsible, and obviously, this is no longer true...instead of trying to balance a budget, they vote for higher deficit limits. The dems used to be the party of the poorer folk, but I see no po folk running as Dems...Today, everyone in office shifts with the wind of public approval, regardless of how fickle public approval is. We have a morass of government leading us into a nightmare of debt that, if we had to pay the piper today, every man, woman, and child would have to cough up 28,000.00 each to pay off what the "law makers" have created in the past few years...disgraceful! Not voting is no kind of option, so it seems that it is, lately, the lesser of two evils. Sorry to be so blunt and pessimistic, but only a blind person could be otherwise.

Don't let the political mud slinging fool you. All are Patriotic. To be affiliated wit a Political party means you are either in office or a registered voter................That means you love your Country enough to hold office or vote for office. And you are a Citizen! If the fence sitter is willing to become an American citizen by taking the oath of Citizenship and vote they too will become Patriotic.

Who is a fence sitter? Someone who doesn't vote? Or an illegal? I have voted all of my adult life and I am in my senior years. I seen many patriotic in all parties.

Democrats are the oldest party in America, other then the extinct plitical partys like the whigs, but they kindof steered of course to the original values of the first democrats like Teddy rooselvelt. One of the first Republicans was Abraham Lincoln who many consider the best president who ever lived. I would have to say Republicans because they know how to draw a line and not cross it and they believe in moral responsibility. FYI, im not a republican or democrat.

How patriotic someone is, and proud of their country and all
that goes with that pride, is an individual thing. Not related to
any political affiliation. I think it is the way your parents have
brought you up to begin with. Pointing out things to you about
the country you live in. The people who have fought and died
in defending our country and our allies. And the fact that we
have undinable freedoms guaranteed to us by our Constitu-
tion. We are the most powerful of nations and we have ex-
tended our hand in friendship to every country on earth. We
have helped with aid both material and financial and yet we
are fighting to hold their respect. But regardless of that, we
can still be proud that we have the freedoms to still say and
do most anything we please, so long as it's within the laws.
So teaching this to our children is important. It's what he or
she decides as an adult about the country they live in then,
that will be the more important.

I am sitting on the dock overlooking the sea, as calm and as tranquil as ever. Engulfed by warm sunlight shining down on my work, because it is about piece, that everybody wins from within.
In this case, my piece, as collection of words, mounting an Answer like an engine being built. For me an original Batik to dress myself in as a Flag.
A nation cannot be a good Patriot, being engulfed in a War.
A Q, that stands Isolated in a Ward, emptied by a new quarantine . War is a Criminal Insanity, by any Standard.
Agreed upon by a United Nations Law book. This World´s Communications Pave the Road leading to an insignificant Fate, being at War and nothing more than War. In between the words, a Truce, but never any Peace....
No Patriotism, just Fate forgetting to change the Track, and leading Nation Train into the Abyss of a Diminishing Power.

Omigosh. I just figured out your name. Two to one suggests to me where your leanings lie, and mine lie with the other third.
Actually, any and all can be patriotic, but some find better ways of expressing it than others.
