Have all of you blinkered bumbleheads out there forgotton about little Rhys Jones, his murderer is still at large and all you can harp on about is the McCann parents, does anyone else think this is an incredibly sad state of affairs.
Makes our society look like a medieval lynchmob.

My sentiments exactly. Most of these people spewing hate have nothing better to do, have low intelligence and no wisdom but unfortunately it's not going to change. It's the state of our sad society today and I would be glad to be rid of it and emigrate. These people love the subject because the gossip has been changing most days which probably makes their sad lives more bearable and that's pretty pathetic.

To be fair the Mccanns is an exceptionally interesting case whatever the result is it will be an outrage. If the parents are guilty it's horrific and If they are innocent the police behaviour has been unfathomable. I know Rhys Jones killer is still at large and that is truly awful and unjust especially for his family and friends. My thoughts are with his family and Friends and all those who were close to him. I hope his killer is caught and bought to justice. What more can one say.

I agree with your sentiments but, you could have named a million different things that are terrible, disgusting, evil that are going on in the world. Moan at the media for their coverage of the McCann's and lack of on little Rhys but you can't really moan at people on here for talking about something that has been continually plastered all over the papers and news for the last few months. Even if it is driving me nuts.

All child murders and missing childrens pictures should be put on the TV at least once a month. This will ensure people don't forget. We should have a Child Crime Watch....

Then parents like the McCanns will hopefully be pushed to the background where they belong.

I agree about the medievil lynchmob, but I think the reason there is a lot about the mcanns because some think the parents were involved. From what I understand the police in Liverpool know who killed Rhys but need witnesses to come forward to verify things.
The people answering questions on here are usually voicing their opinions and no one knows who killed madeleine(if she is dead) thats why.

It's a sad state of affairs when a child is forgotten by the media and the people. If there had of been any speculation behind Rhys death or his mother had taken out a large insurance policy on him you could guarantee that people would be asking question after question about him or the speculation.

I agree with you so you won't get any argument out of me

I think Rhys's case stands out because it a case where there probably are witnesses or people who know what happened.
The tragedy is it was probably carried out by another youth and it is part of their culture to stay silient. We must teach our children to have a voice and put morality over popularity.
Medieval is the right term, lets have enlightenment for once.

Sadly although you are right, its a bit like people continuing to withdraw money from the Northern Rock even after the Government guaranteeing the funds - illogical people behaving like mindless sheep.

There are no witches that we can point the finger at in the case of poor Rhys, only shadowy figures that are unknown to us.
However someone knows who did this awful unforgivable crime and both they and the perpetrator will live in real dreadful fear until the killer is revealed.
