Funny how many people are so quick to turn on a team. They were somewhat beat up by the Monday night game against the Ravens, and they have one of the best offenses in the league. I think they will bounce back this week, and will make a very strong run at the playoffs. Pissburg Stealers are going to falter. The Ravens and the Bengals will be at the top of the NFC North. Everyone else that is jumping all over the Bengals is just showing their complete lack of football knowledge- completely ignoring one of the best offenses in the league, and not knowing that teams have off weeks is a nearly unforgivable football sin. I just hope the Pats are feeling like these other idiots do when the play the Bengals, then a lot of folks here will be in for a big surprise.

I just wanted to point out that the Browns are a much better team than most of you idiots are making them out to be. They made more off-season improvements than any team in the league. They addressed every issue they had on offense (which was the cause of their poor record last year) and made a few improvements on defense. The Brown will be a .500 team at worst.
But no, the Bengals will not make the Super Bowl. Nobody expected the shootout that occurred last weekend, and I don't think it reflects the quality of Cincy's team, but there are just too many better teams they will have to go through to get to the Super Bowl.

Cinci has a good purchase going for it, whether it nevertheless has some susceptible spots. Even after including starting to be older vet DT Sam Adams, the gang's D-line has question marks. The addition of FS Dexter Jackson shouldn't get the gang's hopes up as he's heavily overhyped. The intensity in the back of QB Carson Palmer is diminished without Jon Kitna. And the Bengals' 2006 draft type is disappointing, to assert the least. i does not say that the Bengals can no longer make it to the super Bowl, yet i'm going to assert that it's going to be a tricky, difficult conflict for them. And the "decrease priced shot"? all and sundry who observed that play understood that it wasn't intentional. Von Oelhoffen, who used to play for the Bengals, had no longer something yet be apologetic approximately for Palmer's harm afterwards & even Palmer has pronounced he did no longer think of it replaced into intentional. the suited factor for the Bengals and their followers is to settle for that injuries ensue in the NFL & to concentration on the drawing close season, IMHO.

No, besides the embarassing loss to Cleveland, the AFC is way to strong. If a team needs six turn overs to beat the Ravens and can't get by the Browns, they don't have a prayer against the Colts or Pats. And will be hard pressed to get by the Chargers and even the Steelers are looking better than the Bengals right now.
But be a fan and keep believing. Being a fanatic doesn't mean you are required to be realistic.

Did you miss the game Sunday? They gave up 51 points to the Browns. It looked like nobody was even covering the pass or the run. They failed horribly at both.
BMW - I think you are overlooking the other important part of a football team. DEFENSE. You can win with little to no offense and a good defense. Tampa and Baltimore both did. You won't win with a good offense and little to no defense. Everybody knew they had a good offense and a questionable defense going into the season and they have proved the bad defense part 2 times now. They barely beat the Ravens who had 6 turnovers and would have lost had it not been for the bad call and last turnover.

are you high?!? they gave up 51 pts to the Browns...the browns did not score 51 all last year!....they got outplayed by the Ravens too, the ravens gave that game away....they should be 0-2 right now. Have you seen the Pats or the Colts this year? I would be surprised if anybody even comes close to them. The Bengals have a lot of talent on offense, but they are totally overrated. sorry

Nope..
Sorry, no superbowl team would ever give up 51 points to a team like the Browns. And they needed 6 turnovers to beat the Ravens by a hair their first game. They really should have lost that one also, if it hadnt been for an awful call.

no, because they would have to get past BLITZBURGH for that to happen. The Steelers are going to win the AFC north, but maybe the Bangals will get a wildcard spot. But to go to the Superbowl they'll have go through Heinz field again,so still I think no.

They will, if their entire defense quits and is replaced with the Steelers, Bears, or Ravens defense.
Since that will never happen, they have no legitimate chance until they get a decent defense that won't give up 51 points. They would probably give up 75 or 80 points to the Colts.
