I used to LOVE Huey Lewis and the news in the 80s. My favourite member was Chris Hayes and my favourite album the the first one which was called Huey Lewis and the News. I believe Chris Hayes left the band (boo) and also Mario Cipollina left and then was in some scandal involving armed robbery or something! They did tour in England - I lived in Ireland at the time and saw them twice in Dublin. They were excellent shows, I still think this now although I'm really a fan anymore. I still think the first album was really good though and the best song is Some of my lies are true.

I grew up with them. Some of their songs were in the Bck To the Future Movies. One record was their greatest hits. There was their self titled record. There was also a record title Time flies. I didn't think Huey Lewis was still around! I used to love that guys music when I was a kid. I imagine he's pretty old by now.

I don't know if I'd call them great. They were more along the lines of The Gin Blossoms for the 80's. That would make them a competent bar-boogie band, but they didn't exactly revolutionize the body of rock either. Yeah, I guess it's hip to be square.

I thought they were great. Without a doubt, they had their time in the sun. They could do no wrong in the 80s, and they were arguably the most popular band in the world for a time during that decade.

I like them, some of their songs are really great but I'm not a huge fan.
I own the Sports record and I have a greatest hits cd of theirs, I couldn't pick which one I like better though because they both are really good.

i like them, i love the lead singer (huey Lewis) singing with of all people gwyneth paltrow in the film duets they sing crusing .

I used to listen to them all the time when I was a kid, but as far as albums go not to sure how many they had or the names but what a was to wake up (thinking about your childhood). The singer was such a funny look'n guy "A"

They were my favourite band back in the day!
I saw them twice - once in Glasgow and once in Edinburgh (NB Scotland not England!)
I liked Fore! and Small World best but the other albums were good too.
