A pool 4 sure...the house I grew up in had both and I REALLY miss my pool. When I house hunt soon I will be looking for a house that either has one already or has a good yard to put one in...I must have a pool!

it depends. if you live in a very cold place, of course you would have preferred a fireplace. who wants to freeze in the swimming pool? Likewise, if you live in a tropical country, you would not need a fireplace. get a swimming pool and chill out. well maybe if you wanted to live antiquely, you could always get a fire place.

I'd rather have the fireplace. I think they are romantic and people wouldn't invite themselves over. Plus, swimming pools need lots of care and I'm lazy.
