Yes, they should. There are still way too many out there without proper health care due to the costs of health insurance.

Yes of course! I really feel it's ridiculous that there are so many people without health insurance, it's like if you can't afford to even live without insurance. Years ago, when you would go for a job interview, the first thing you do would be negotiating salary, but in now and days, when you go for an interview the first thing you ask the employer is "what health benefit package does the company offer", than salary. It really is sad, and all people should have health insurance, it really is so important. : )

Absolutely, yes... The government pays more when hospitals must write off in taxes those ER bills, because folks do not have insurance and need to use the ER as a primary care office... It's silly political posturing not to guarantee universal healthcare...

Certainly, it will be a very good welfare principle for a totally democratic government to adhere to! An effective health insurance will go a long way to reassure the citizens that govt looks after the welfare of people in practical terms, not just bookish, theoretical terms!

absolutely. The entire point of federal government is to benefit and protect it's people. That includes protecting the health of population.

Together, we can accomplish anything, including national health care.
