The city of Alexandria, VA (but not Alexandria within Fairfax County) passed a law a couple of years ago against visible thong underwear. I don't really think that law is fair because visible underwear isn't always on purpose, but I've stopped wearing underwear with my low-rise jeans, so it doesn't really matter. And at least I wear a belt, so I'm not exposing MY buttcrack to the known universe.
HOWEVER, I have no problem with a law against saggy pants. There was this kid on the metro last week who had his entire butt out, as if anybody really needed to see that. Big sloppy saggy pants hanging off of some teenager's little narrow @ss is NOT cute and it just looks ignorant. This saggy pants trend has been going on for 20 years. Enough already!
