I like Italian mob movies too. The best of course is The Godfather. It's ranked as one of the great American movies of all time. Godfather, Parts II and III are good movies, but not as good as the first. I also like Good Fellas, A Bronx Tale, Married to the Mob, Bugsy, and Mafia Princess.

The Godfather Part 2 I would suggest and stay away from Godfather 3..not worth the time.

I really only liked Godfather parts 1 and 2. I never got into Goodfellas and Casino and Heat. If those are Italian mob based at all....not sure. Sorry.
The Departed was good, but thats Irish mob, not Italian.

Goodfellas is great! Casino also, but in my opinion, the best Italian mob pic is something called "The Godfather Epic." or sometimes "The Godfather Chronicles."After The Godfather Part II was played out, FF Coppola re-edited parts I & II in chronological order. In this version, we start out with young Vito Andolini (the Don's real name) going to his father's funeral, and we end with Michael looking out as his brother goes fishing... It's really the best way to see "The Godfather!" and it's the best Italian mob pic!

The Godfathers are the bible of the mob films. Once upon a time in America is cool too. I love them all. You could try Goodfellers and Casino. Anything Pesci is in is fantastic (he teaches you how to attack a man with a pen). Rock on!

Ofcoarse The Godfather handsdown is one of the best mafia movies ever made. I also like, excuse me if these are not considered mob movies, but Casino and Donnie Brasco are great movies too.
