St. Petersburg, because there's way more to see there than MOscow. In Moscow, the only historical thing is the Red Square, because back in history they decided to get rid of al historical monuments and museums and build new building for people to live in. However, St. Petersburg has A LOT of beautiful things to see- such as Peterhof, HERMitage, Russkii musei (Russian museum), and I could go on forever! So I would recommend St. Petersburg. Have fun!

depends what you like. Moscow has the Kremlin, the St Basils cathedral, Red Square, Gorky Park, and numerous other things but is very expensive with beer costing up to $10. St Petersburg has a better nightlife and is cheaper. Do not go to either, or indeed any major Russian city in April, as near to the anniversary of Hitlers birthday gangs of thugs roam around the streets beating up anybody who does not look Russian

Well, i've only ever been to Moscow and it's proper nice, however, I've spoken to many people and they think St. Petersburg is amazing too..... it's down to different interests and things. How about both? Get a train or something? Do some research on things you would like to see....

In the event that you would like to visit areas like Kremlin, Red Square and St Basil's Cathedral than you should go to Moscow, the capital of the Russian Federation and among the country's hottest destinations for foreign visitors and you can be one if you look with hotelbye . In Moscow you may also see the entire world famous theater, the Bolshoi Theatre, the gem in the top of Moscow's wealthy social life. Moscow has lot to offer and let me tell you you will enjoy a holyday here.

St Petersburg, by a long margin! Wonderful place I had a great time, but did not see everything as the Hermitage took all my time.
