the black in the lettering is purely an oil based paint Marble seems very high-quality in the initiating whether it does not postpone to climate o.k. at this element "12 years" you would be suited off via purely making use of a small brush and portray the lettering back in heavily permit that dry some days with the intention to maintain what's left of the marble you will would desire to color over it with a sparkling polyurethane permit that dry for roughly one week then polish it up with a sturdy paste wax which includes turtle wax it is going to would desire to be waxed approx. a million time a 300 and sixty 5 days as you have observed maximum headstones are created from granite recently by using matters of marble so in case you do have it redone elect granite subsequent time

Only if you do so before the event. The Spike Milligan quote is a classic.

No you can't. It's down to the rules of the cemetary you are buried in.
There's a cemetary where I used to live that wouldn't allow the little pictures you get on headstones of teddy bears, roses etc. They only allowed lettering.

And most cemetaries won't allow profanities.

You'd have to decide where you wanted to be buried and find out what they allow.

The choice of what kind of stone to use for a memorial is already controlled by some authorities, so maybe they'd like to also vet any proposed epitaph. No harm in leaving a note for your relatives though, I've always said they can put:
'showed great promise' on mine!

Difficult, since you'll be dead.
I like this one: 'Here I lie, broken hearted, paid a penny and only farted.'
When I was 18 a school friend admitted that for many years she thought that 'RIP stood for 'Return If Possible'

Yes, you can write anything on your headstone. Just do it before you die or make sure to give instructions to whomever will write it when you're dead.

Yes, you can put anything on it that you wish to. I have a picture of 2 stones next to each other. One says Mother and the stone next to her just says "Myself". I have seen alto of things that were put on stones that really surprised me. I never thought someone would want a nude on their stone with a saying that goes along with it. That one was the most surprising one I have seen and the one that says, Myself.
So, to your question it would be a great big
YES for your answer.
