much more efficient than those gas ones and produce good heat

Good? Man it's always good, and wise, to heat the patio. Something better might be to go inside when it cools off outside.

I don't know I think it depends how large your patio area is.

How about buying a good gazebo and putting a cardi on? the world (and the rest of us) will thank you for it :)

we used them many years about in old buildings with poor insulation and they provided some relief to the people.
the outdoor temperature was zero most days
