This one made me LOL: "On many occasions, Hillary Clinton has spoken about the need to find the right balance in our lives."

By that criterion, Dr Phil or your local yoga instructor could become president.

Stephie: That Wikipedia entry didn't mention that Hillary used to be a Republican, and she is proud of the fact that she was a Goldwater Girl. Maybe there's hope for her yet.

SmartGuy: Hmmmm.... in 1965 or so, my parents bought me those alphabet refirgerator magnets when I was a toddler... no lie, they really helped me to learn letters and to spell - was that a "Pioneering Program" by my parents?

Hillary Rodham Clinton arrived at the White House after serving as First Lady of Arkansas for twelve years. During that time she worked as a full-time partner of a law firm, chaired an education committee that set public school standards in Arkansas, managed a home, and cared for her husband and child. On many occasions, Hillary Clinton has spoken about the need to find the right balance in our lives. For her, the elements of that balance are family, work, and public service.
Hillary Diane Rodham was born in Chicago, Illinois, on October 26, 1947, daughter of Hugh and Dorothy Rodham. She and her younger two brothers grew up in Park Ridge, Illinois, as a close-knit family. An excellent student, she was also a Girl Scout and a member of the local Methodist youth group. Hillary also enjoyed sports and was always interested in politics.
She entered Wellesley College in 1965. Graduating with high honors, she moved on to Yale Law School, where she served on the Board of Editors of the Yale Review of Law and Social Action. While at Yale, she developed her special concern for protecting the best interests of children and their families. It was there that she met Bill Clinton, a fellow student.
In 1973, Hillary became a staff attorney for the Children's Defense Fund. A year later she was recruited by the Impeachment Inquiry staff of the Judiciary Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives to work on the Watergate Impeachment proceedings.
Hillary left Washington and followed her heart to Arkansas, marrying Bill Clinton in 1975. The couple taught together on the law faculty of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Their daughter, Chelsea, was born in 1980.
As First Lady of Arkansas, Hillary continued to work tirelessly on behalf of children and families. In addition to chairing the Arkansas Education Standards Committee, she founded the Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families. She introduced a pioneering program called Arkansas Home Instruction for Preschool Youth, which trained parents to work with their children in preschool preparedness and literacy. Hillary also served on the board of the Arkansas Children's Hospital. In recognition of her professional and personal accomplishments, Hillary was named Arkansas Woman of the Year in 1983 and Arkansas Mother of the Year in 1984.
Like her predecessors, Hillary Rodham Clinton brings to the role of First Lady of the United States her own special talents, experience, style, and interests. The President appointed her to head his Task Force on national Health Care Reform, one of his highest priorities on taking office.
Women's International Center proudly presents the Living Legacy Award to Hillary Rodham Clinton for her vast contributions in so many fields, especially honoring her work for women and children.

Hillary stands by using her guy and does not waste her time baking cookies. Oh, those are not political accomplishments. i do no longer dislike her, yet i do no longer plan to vote for her. particular, the U. S. is waiting for a woman Pres.;yet by some skill i do no longer have confidence this one. certainly i'm ill of all of the prosperous mainstream political animals and could probable vote self sufficient for the 1st time ever.

EDIT: After reading some of these hateful responses, it actually makes me sad. And I realize that some of YOU genuinely suffer from Hillary Derangement Syndrome.

You can hate the lady all you like, but to deny the reality that she has accomplished a great deal is just, well - silly.

You think it's easy to become a lawyer?
It is not.
You think it's a breeze to become a Senator?
It is not.
You think any of YOU could tough it out and stay in a marriage which was drug through the slime and mud in full view of the public?
I doubt it - most people nowadays opt for the easy out.
How many of YOU have worked diligently to help abused children?
Oh. I see.
How many of YOU were selected in the "Top 100 Lawyers in the Country" twice?
Oh...right. None of you.
You think it was a ball of cheese doing all that incredibly tedious research that went into her attempt to address the Health Care issue back in 92? That was hard work. And the accomplishment was that she even took it on.

If any of you had the courage to READ my links, you'd see her accomplishments.

Bash her all you like, who cares?

But to deny hard, cold FACTS just makes you look...well, silly.

She has managed to make me lose my appetite every time I see or hear her. Ive often wondered if maybe she could market herself to the Jenny Craig community as an appetite suppressant. You know, you get hungry put on a 5 second clip of Hillary ranting and you dont eat for two days.

She gave birth to her child and she's baked a few cookies in her day.

She overlooked her husband and Jennifer Flowers, Paula Jones, Monica Lewinsky, etc.

She has effectively scared me because she's running for President. That's an accomplishment in and of itself!

Other than that, she has no platform of accomplishments whatsoever.
