Yes it is.keep about 4-5 instruments on a table and let allow the child to pick the instrument

its a wonderful gift. i think that musical instruments are one of the best investments. for me i was so intrigued by my mother playing the piano and she asked me if i wanted to learn and i was all, hell yeah! i was 6 at the time. but let your child pick which one they might be interested in. take them to a music store and let them test out a few

Depending on your budget, piano or if you are unsure if they will continue with it, start with something cheaper that won't break the bank if they decide they dont like it.
You can pick up a cheap guitar for $150.00

Most definitely! It's better to get them interested while they're very young so they gain experience. Personally, I'd give a violin. Portable and bound to create a personal attachment!

a nice toy piano, a cherub violin, a ukulele, a toy sax, and toy trumpet ... just see which one the child likes
