The ACLU is just as criminal as the supreme court in defending The Constitution. And why is it a big deal to the libs if Craig is a queer? They are the same people that thought it was OK for Bill to get blow jobs from an intern his daughters age. There are far more important things that should be of concern don't you think? But yes Britney has been quiet for a few days. God help us!

It's happened before..they came to Rush Limbaughs aid when he was on trial for drugs.
Mez...we are NOT required to hate the ACLU..they actually do some good work....not all the time and they seem to be a little hypocritical with their selection of cases and try to defend things that any normal person would abhor, which is cause enough to suspect every thing they do.

The ACLU will defend anyone that needs it. Why should someone not have rights just because of their sexual preference? Besides I'm not convinced he is even gay. and even if he is why should looking for a partner for sex between adults be against the law.

I know, isn't that a knee slapper? Well since all Republicans are required to hate loathe and despise the ACLU (fighters for equality), it will be very interesting to see if Craig's hypocrisy extends to the extreme of actually accepting or refusing their assistance.

The ACLU has one client and that is the United States Constitution. The fact that neocons consistently attack them for their defense of the constitution points out exactly where they stand on civil liberties.

Your logic is infallible. However, even if Senator Craig was trying to get something going in the bath room, it is not illegal. That is the basis of the defense.

The ACLU is a good organization. They defend civil liberties. They are not inherently liberal, it just seems that way since its usually the conservatives that want to squash people's civil liberties.

I don't know why people hate the ACLU whose sole existence is to defend the Constitution. Just because Bush, Cheney, and Rove says we should hate them, you hate them.
