WOW what a blast from the past !! Many will be too young to remember these, but when I was a freshman to at Wausau East High School I was the fist person to wear Earth Shoes. (circa 1974) They were rather different looking and thus earned me the nickname of "elfshoes"!!

TOPEE.In earlier classes I used to come to school wearing a cap which was not normal with other students. They would come bare headed.In Hindi language the cap is called topee, hence the nickname given to me was TOPEE.

yr 10-12 - the same on I have now
up to yr 9 - it was randomly the same name as a fishing guy who had a 5minute dit on most nights on tv in the town I was living in. I still don't get to this day why I got called it...
