Playoffs maybe. Super Bowl no way. Their offense is not that good yet and the Eagles offense is pretty bad not so much their defense being that good.

Legacy can change perception, cant it?
For all those who said "No way, cant happen, wont make the playoffs"...reminder. Most of the teams you are talking will "wipe the floor" with the Redskins..watched the Redskins with the basic same core group...go to the NFC championship a mere two years ago. The other NFC teams...watched from home. There were alot of glaring weaknesses that were happening then....an aging quarterback..underdeveloped wide receiving core.
The basic principle is still the same though. Please dont mistake that the Cowboys will play the Redskins and win one of those "Pitch and shut out" games. They havent been able to do that in awhile. Two years ago they were swept (by the Redskins), and it affected the team so badly that Tuna quit the following year.
Although I will say Philly and NYC will get some gift games this year..they are pretty much showing their signs of erosion early...which isnt good. This division will come down to Washington or Dallas...and it will be a fight. And honestly, I wouldnt have it any other way ;)

The Redskins don't have a PRAYER to win the Super Bowl this year....get real! Dallas wins the East at 11-5 and the Redskins will be damn lucky to make it to 8-8, and THAT won't get you into the playoffs, even in the NFC. Gibbs and his running attack and game plan are predictable and outdated, as many of his coaching protege's already run and can coach against his sets. The RB's (Portis, Betts, Rock) that the skins have can't last a full season running the ball over and over and over again.
I'm afraid you're gunna have to wait still another season for the skins to make it INTO the playoffs, much less win a Super Bowl. Reality Check, amigo.

Yes it is long overdue -- but think this year is not going to happen. We'll win 1 playoff game and build on that for next year when we win it all ;-)

Slow down a bit. Jason Campbell has a long way to go and to many receivers drop to many passes. Maybe one day they'll be in the Super Bowl , but not any day soon. However, this was a big road victory for the Skins.

You really think an NFC team will beat an AFC team within the next 10 years? You're funny!
I definitely think they will make the playoffs, but not the Super Bowl. I'll say the Cowboys (even though I hate them) will lose in the Super Bowl.

Try being a Lions fan.......now that's long overdue. At least you have seen your team win a Superbowl (depending on how old you are).

Hahaha, that's alittle preemptive. But, if they do, I'll be happy. That being said, if they make the playoffs that would be a big step in the right direction for an organization that has underachieved since Dan Snider bought it.

As much as I like Joe Gibbs and his style of football, Washington in the Super Bowl is REALLy DREAMING.
With a LOT of breaks, meaning losses by Philly and Dallas, they MIGHT make the playoffs.
Even that's more of a dream than reality.
8-8 won't make the playoffs. I don't see them doing any better than that.
Giants will probably be at the bottom. Dallas and Philly - one of them will knock the other out of it and Washington MIGHT get lucky and get a WC by default. ;-)

No way any team from the NFC wins the Superbowl this year. The best team in the NFC would be lucky to make the playoffs in the AFC.
