Everything is relative. Time appears to fly if you are engrossed in some activity. Quite the opposite if you are doing something really mundane. However that is just perception of time, it actually here on earth still ticks away at 24 hours to the day.
HOWEVER if you believe certain books that we are told are the truth, then you are told that a "day is as a thousand years"
and a "thousand years is as a day" now that really is time flying....... Oh yes, it really is flying...it describes Space Travel and time dilation....Better not knock the good book any more.!!

Yes, time does seem to fly, doesn't it? In any measure - hours, days, months, years - it all just seems to fly right away. It seems as if it were just yesterday that my great-grandmother died, when it was really almost a year ago. The other day I was going over several significant accomplishments that I will likely make in the next 10-15 years. I will be 14 years old on February 6 - I'll be going on to college in 2019, I could be married in 6 or 7 years and have children within 10 years. I wouldn't be surprised if I was married at 20 or 21 because I have a very good friend that I get along very well with. We have a lot in common and I, without a shadow of a doubt, believe there's a good possibility that one day I will watch her walking down the aisle and the two of us exchanging our vows. So yes, time does fly, of course, so the best thing we can do with it is to use it wisely. Life on earth is very short compared to our eternal lives which we will enter into when our time on earth is done, so the wisest thing we could do with our time is to not use it foolishly, but wisely!

Time does not fly. Closer to the center of the Galaxy all movement speeds up We are not designed to pick up on that.
