How do I copy right a product? Can I do it through internet? Can I copy right an idea? There is any special care to do it for international products? How do I charge for the persons who are using my idea?

Thank you very much.

YOu Patent an idea or invention. You copyright written words or artistic creations.

Example: You can patent a new form of engine design, but you cannot patent the idea of a piston (all engines use them.)

You cannot copyright a general design. Example: A teddy Bear. But you can copyright a teddy bear with a special name, design characteristics and accessories. (Such as Paddington Bear)

You can copyright a novel or short story, but you cannot copyright a single word. You can copyright a phrase as it pertains to marketing ("Got milk?") but you cannot copyright the use of that phrase in general. (A novelist writes that the hero stopped and got milk...)

You would need to go to each country to put in a patent or copyright and you have to adhere to each country's rules. Same for Copyright. For this you may want to have a Patent/Copyright Lawyer from each country.

Once you feel that someone is 'infringing' on your patent rights or copy rights, it's up to you to take them to court for the damages. (Damages would be money or reputation lost by you, gained by them for using the patented item, or copyrighted article.)

You can only copyright words and lyrics to my knowledge. You can't copyright an idea. You need to look into trademarks and patents for products. Look into a reputable invention company for help in this area.

As stated, you need a patient, not a copyright. Also, you can not copyright ideas, thinking is free and there is very little that one one person on the planet has ever thought of.
