That's funny. People try to pretend there's no emotional attachment. But emotions are why they had sex in the first place. I've never understood how anyone can completely seperate sex from love, even if they think they can. The two go hand in hand. Especially when walking on the beach together. I don't know anything about chemical changes in the brain. I'm a writer by trade. But I do know that those who try to go without it after reaching adulthoold, are kind of stiff in a way. Life without sex, is a huge denial of ourselves. I like it. The same way I like love. Because I think sex is the most intense way to express the Big L. And no, men and women have the same perspective, just different interpretations about how it should be handled. And yes, over indulgence in anything can harm you. Same as underindulgence in anything.
Good questions. I hope I helped shed some light on some of them for you. But nobody's as expert on the subject as they imagine. No matter how jaded or experieced they are.

I saw an interview with a notable French artist where he was ask what he caused him the greatest satisfaction in his life - expecting some artistic, philosophical answer.

His reply: Making love to women.

Moderation is best.

Women want children, men want women; just the way it is.

You will know when it is too much.

Too many questions in one post, Pramod R. Basically, sex is enjoyable because it is necessary for reproduction. Nature wants reproduction! The sex urge encourages us to do something that our logic would tell us not to do, at least not until we are financially and emotionally ready.

When Mother Nature looks at us, she does not see man-woman-man-woman. She sees sperm-eggs-sperm-eggs. Her total aim in existence is to get these together and reproduce. She views it as being so important that she makes it extremely enjoyable so we will be tempted to do it over and over again. That way, her aim of reproduction will be realised.

Seems you are yet to experience the joy of sex.
Once experienced you will ask a different set of questions.
