I never pick best answer by who gave a star, but I still give thumbs up. Best answer to me is simply the best answer no matter.

Liz, You can tell who all stars just by clicking on where it says,"show who starred" & they'll all show.

How would you know the person who gave you a star unless they are on of your contacts? When I ask a question...I will give thumbs up to everyone who answered my question. I really enjoy the answers I get and I appreciate that they took the time to give me a good answer. I haven't asked many questions...and i haven't received many stars.....but for the questions I've asked, I have received very good answers. There were many times when I had a very hard time picking the best answer because all of the answers are so good! So they all deserve a thumbs up no matter if they starred me or not!

I try not to look at the stars until after I pick best answer. Then I guess who gave me the stars before I look. The reason I want to pick the best answer regardless of whether or not they starred me. I always make sure to give my best answer a thumbs up....if I pick it as best they deserve an extra point.

No. I give a thumbs up if I think someone has given a good answer.
I give a thumbs down if I think it's a bad answer.
The star is a separate thing altogether.

I'm thankful when someone thinks enough of my question to give me a star,so yes i'll give them a thumbs up if their answer is good,and nothing vulgar or nasty .Have a good day.
