it use to be rum and raisin, but with so many different flavours today the choice is limitless, I think my favourite now a days is blackcurrant or cherry.
The choice may change as I try more new flavours.
As for eating strange things with ice cream, don't think I have unless you consider rice pudding with ice cream as strange.

I love ice cream , and i think the strangest thing I ever ate with it was french fries . (i was preggie) my favorite is the Neapolitan and , I love chocolate fudge , caramel and butterscotch toppings ,
